Welcome to the Bristol Rural Branch of The Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers
The Branch supports and promotes church bell ringing (also known as campanology) across an area to the North and East of Bristol, from Thornbury clockwise to Bitton. That's over twenty churches and many, many bellringers. We ring the bells for Sunday service, weddings and for fun. Bell ringing is a mentally and physically stimulating pastime and very sociable. G&B AGM and Open Ringing
- The G&B AGM and Striking Competition on Saturday 18 April includes a day of open ringing in the Tewkesbury area. See here for details. Posted 14 March 2026
- Update: If you plan to attend the AGM you are requested to (if possible) submit names for tea to the organiser (ask your tower contact for details). This is to minimise catering wastage rather than a requirement to register. Posted 22 March 2026
May Day Bank Holiday Outing
